March Prayer Points ENG-2
Dear [subscriber:firstname | default:reader],

“And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people” (Ephesians 6:18, NIV)

According to Genesis 12:1-3, as God’s children He has blessed us with the opportunity to take the message of His salvation and reconciliation to the peoples of the world. We, along with millions of believers around the globe and throughout the centuries, are a part of His great plan and purpose. Within the Church of God of Prophecy alone, more than a million men, women, boys, and girls are representing Christ in their villages and communities. We praise God for active works in more than 135 nations of the world.

To enable us to reach the world and fulfill the mission Christ gave us, we must find our foundation in prayer. Prayer is a critical component to our effectiveness and fruitfulness. And as we read in Ephesians 6:18, we are admonished to pray for “all the Lord’s people.”

When we consider our prayers for the world, how often do we find ourselves praying for the harvest—the lost and unreached people of the world? While these prayers are important, we must remember that Jesus also taught us to pray for laborers (Matthew 9:37-38) and fellow believers (Ephesians 5:18, John 17).

  • Pray for those serving as pastors, missionaries, and leaders all around the world. Ask the Father to help them grow in their knowledge of the Lord and in their relationship with Him. Prayer the recommended Scriptures for them. (Matthew 16: 24-24, 2 Peter 3:18, Ephesians 5:15, 1 Thessalonians 5:17, 1 Peter 2:1).
  • Pray for the emotional and physical wellness for those serving in ministry. Ask the Father to keep them safe from danger, healthy, and free of loneliness and/or depression (Isaiah 40:31, Romans 15:13).
  • Pray for the families of those serving in ministry around the world. Ask God to strengthen their relationship with their spouses, children, and other family members (1 Timothy 3:2-6, Ephesians 6:4).
  • Pray that those serving in leadership would speak with boldness, passion, and authority and that their ministry would effectively make disciples (Col. 1:28, 1 Corinthians 1:23, Acts 1:8, Matthew 28:19).
  • Pray that God would open doors to advance the Gospel message into new places that have been closed (1 Corinthians 16:9, Col 4:2, 1 Thessalonians 3:1-3).
  • Pray for prepared hearts that hear the Word, receive, and bear fruit with perseverance (Mark 4:33, Matthew 13:23, Luke 11:28, Acts 11:1, and James 1:2).
